Isabella Jane

Isabella Jane, the world's greatest surprise, was born on June 11th. She is now three months and two days old. She has the shape of my head, but the features of my husband. She does have my eyes, though. She also has my temper and lungs. It's kind of odd that before I had her, I could never have dreamed of ever having a child, but now that I have her, I don't ever want to let her go. It hurts so much when she cries her little tears or when she's away. She's brought my husband and I closer to one another as well. We've been acting like we're in high school again. I mean, I know it's only been three years since we've been out, but I thought I would feel older and more mature with her. She just brings this light and happiness that I didn't even know you could feel about another person. She was so small when she was born; only six pounds and six ounces and now she is so much bigger. She's growing too fast! I just never knew this feeling could actually happen to me.

Donald is now Sgt. Apelo. He has been for a while, but I haven't really been up to writing here, until now. He's getting ready to leave again sometime in late November or early December. We don't really talk about it all that much, mostly because it kills us that he's going to miss out on Izzy's growing up process for the first year when soooo much will be happening. We're setting aside some money to get a digital camera so that I can make DVDs to send him over there. There is also this new thing you can get in Iraq that allows you to get internet and all that good stuff in your own room, if you're lucky enough to get one. It's around the seventy dollar price range, but you can split the bill with roommate and then both of you can have it. He's taking the lap-top, a mic, and a camera with him for the puter. We'll be able to talk daily and my worrying may not be so much to handle this time. I hope everything turns out okay.

My sister is due sometime in November! She's having a baby girl named Hallie or Halley or however they're going to spell it. Her cousin is having twin boys sometime in December or January. Krystle and Casey's little boy, Colton, is getting big fast too. He was born about two months earlier than Izzy. They're our kind of neighbors. They live in the same apartment complex, but Casey was with Donald when they were in Iraq last time, so they're also close family friends.

My mom is getting on her feet again after moving into a new house that is a little pricey, but when I move in with her, it'll be easier to pay. My father started up a mini-record label. It's mostly just guys he knows and his own stuff. He wrote some okay songs. I mean, they're amatuer, but good for being just him and his computer. He does his own vocals sometimes and of course the drumming is him. He picked up a guitar and started learning, so that's him too. He adds bass from the puter, though I think. The label is called "Big Boy Records" and the picture is a huge muscular arm. He got the name from he calls my little brother. Christian (lil' bro) is turning five this October. He's so friggin' smart! I don't remember being that smart when I was his age. It's crazy.

Well, I better go. Thank you for reading! Laterz!
